WHO
We are Little Georgia, a folk/rock duo from Australia. Although we live at opposite ends of the country, we love writing, recording and touring our music around the world together, reaching as many ears as possible. The USA, in particular, is one of our favourite places to play music.
WHAT
Our new single ‘Texas’ is the first taste of a collection of new releases we will be working on during 2020. The 6-minute psyched-out, grunge-tinged epic is produced and engineered by Grammy award-winning producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen), and tells the story of a particularly tumultuous time for us as a band.

WHEN
‘Texas’ was released worldwide on March 11, 2020.
WHY
We spend so much time touring, visiting different places, and meeting so many interesting people that it’s hard not to be inspired! So many of these experiences become songs and ‘Texas’ is no different.
There’s a lot of power and emotion within this song and we knew that Nick DiDia would do an amazing job capturing it. We’re so happy with how it turned out!
Our latest release, ‘Texas’ grasps at the heartache, passion, and anger of betrayal. We feel so lucky to have worked with producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen) on this song as we feel he captured the rawness of its story in a live recording at La Cueva Recordings, Byron Bay Australia. We also feel extremely lucky to have worked with California cinematographer Matt Kleiner who directed and shot the 6-minute epic music video for ‘Texas’. He tells the story so perfectly!
