March 25th, 2021 – BAILEN, NYC based singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Daniel, David and Julia Bailen have collaborated with acclaimed indie folk-rockers Joseph, sisters Allison, Meegan, and Natalie Closner, on a dazzling new cover and video for The Rolling Stones’ gem, “Moonlight Mile.”
Recorded and filmed at their respective homes during lockdown, the trios combined their unique set of vocal harmonies to create a gorgeous and elegant, new interpretation of the Stones’ chestnut which originally appeared on band’s 1971 classic, Sticky Fingers. Earlier today, BAILEN and Joseph appeared via livestream on BAILEN’s YouTube channel where they chatted about the collaboration before the video premiere. Watch the “Moonlight Mile” video HERE
BAILEN on the collaboration: “There’s nothing like two sibling bands touring the U.S together. We put this arrangement together backstage of our 2nd show and it became the highlight of the tour-finding magic in adding BAILEN harmonies to Joseph’s.”
Earlier this month, BAILEN shared the lyric video for their song “25 For The Last Time.” The clip highlights footage from the band’s extensive touring prior to the COVID-19 shutdown including their stint opening for Hozier on the second leg of his Wasteland, Baby U.S. tour, watch it HERE. “25 For The Last Time” was recorded just prior to the band’s sessions for their acclaimed John Congleton produced (St. Vincent, The War on Drugs) debut album Thrilled To Be Here released via Fantasy Records in April 201
