Born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Bagwell incorporates Spanish culture into this record with fresh instrumentals and fiery lyrics. This intimate collection penned by Bri, details her experiences and hardships. “I initially thought that these songs were super personal to me,” Bri admits, “but my producer Rachel Loy assured me that the overarching themes of struggle, love, anger, and vulnerability are universal.” Bri adds, “We had a blast recording in Nashville at the Sound Emporium with some of country music’s top musicians. Rachel Loy brought her magical ability to elevate each tune and give it the life that it deserves.”
