Jade made her national television debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” followed by a standout performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She was also chosen as part of the inaugural class of NPR Music’s “Slingshot Artist” program, was featured as a Rolling Stone “Artist to Watch” and was selected as one of PAPER’s “100 Women Revolutionizing Pop.”
Additionally, Jade recently wrapped a hugely successful debut U.S. headline tour, including a sold out performance at The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Her extensive year of touring stateside also included dates with Brandi Carlile, First Aid Kit, Anderson East and Colter Wall as well as festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Stagecoach, Firefly, Mountain Jam, Bumbershoot, Grandoozy, Pilgrimage and more. Of her live show, The Indianapolis Star hails, “Using an acoustic guitar to deploy power pop, English singer-songwriter Bird wrapped red-flag relationship tales (‘Uh Huh’ and ‘Lottery’) in irresistible melodies.”
