Maddie & Tae are performing several of their songs from their new EP, One Heart to Another, as they make the trek across North America as part of Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360, including their latest song, “Die From a Broken Heart.” The song has received such a huge reaction and many of their fans have their own stories about getting through their own heartbreak.

“Man, the reaction to ‘Die From A Broken Heart’ was completely unexpected. We didn’t even realize that that song was going to have the life that it’s having. It excites me. I can’t even tell you how much it excites me to hear our fans relate to this because it is so our story and so real and true to what we’ve been through,” says the duo’s Maddie Marlow. “Like, for example, there was a Mom that said my daughter’s going through her first heartbreak. And, he wasn’t good enough for her anyways and she doesn’t realize it now. But, that song is getting her through it. That just gives us so much purpose and just like wants us…Like keeps us going just knowing that we’re doing something for people.”

Maddie & Tae are performing at the Riverfront on Friday (June 7th) during CMA Music Fest before they return to the Cry Pretty Tour 360 in Toronto June 9th.
