MARIS Releases Stripped Version of Debut EP, Gravity

January 30, 2025 – Up-and-coming indie pop singer MARIS has released her new EP, Gravity (Stripped), with all tracks recorded in single takes at Coke Studios at Spotify Los Angeles.

MARIS says, “Reimagining the songs from my debut EP, Gravity, in a stripped-back style at the stunning Spotify x Coke Studio in LA was such an incredible privilege. Having the chance to create and share music means everything to me, and I hope these raw versions reveal a fresh perspective to my universe.”

Standout track, “Was It A Dream?,” reflects on the heartbreak of a fleeting love, as MARIS questions whether their intense connection was real or just an illusion, blending searing emotion with her signature ethereal vocals.

Fans can experience stepping into the studio with MARIS as a fly-on-the-wall with the intimate “Was It A Dream? (Stripped)” video filmed live on-site in one take.

MARIS wrapped up a nationwide tour with indie band Melt this past November and is now preparing her next offering of original tracks for release this year.

In support of this new music, MARIS will be hitting the road with pop artist Maude Latour on her ‘Sugar Water’ US tour kicking off March 5th in San Francisco. Best experienced live, MARIS and her music have a riveting aura that ensures all in attendance are in a safe place to be their happiest, truest, and most out-of-this-world selves.
