Meiko releases Holiday single “Merry Christmas Wherever You Are”

Acclaimed alt-pop singer-songwriter Meiko has independently released a new
holiday track today titled “Merry Christmas Wherever You Are.”  She teamed
up with producer Joshua Grange (Sheryl Crow, k.d. lang) how also produced
her 2016 LP, Moving Day.

“The song is about missing loved ones during Christmas”, Meiko says. “I
wrote it when I was really sad, but we ended up recording it with really
warm, happy-sounding production.”

“Merry Christmas Wherever You Are” wraps up a series of Meiko releases in
2018. Most recently the “Back in the Game” single (WAX LTD) and the
critically-acclaimed live covers album, Playing Favorites (Chesky Records).

Meiko, who recently relocated to Hamburg, Germany from Nashville, TN, is
busy putting the finishing touches on a new full-length which will be
released in late spring 2019.
