Melody Federer has released her new single “This Town” along with official music video.
Ahead of the release, Atwood Magazine exclusively premiered the video and raved about the song saying “Federer spends time bouncing back from electric guitars to soaring melodies as she analyzes and takes apart what it feels like to be stuck in a place or feeling you don’t know how to escape. The track pulls off an incredible alternative-rock vibe that proves Federer bold, daring, and creatively dangerous.”
Earlier this year, “Bridges,” a collaborative effort by Federer and legendary Burt Bacharach was released and gained high praise from the likes of American Songwriter, Billboard and Forbes.
Coming up later this month, Federer will perform at SXSW as an official artist. Federer expects to release her sophomore full-length album later in 2020.
