“Misery, it loves company – but there’s no way you’ll get that from me” – Nashville country/pop artist Parker McKay is done with bullsh*t in her new single “Pity Party,” out everywhere today. The straight-forward track, which premiered yesterday on American Songwriter, is Parker’s first release of 2020.
“I know everybody has been through something where the other person is just trying to keep them on the line for their own selfish reasons,” explains Parker. “This is an anthem for when you want to let go of that person and remind yourself that you are worth someone who actually wants to be with you.”

Parker started off 2019 by releasing her Haim-esque production fueled single “This Far,” followed by her Billboard praised single “Honest,” which she performed for her TV debut on Today In Nashville. Parker was a part of CMT’s Artist Discovery Program last year, who premiered her charming music video for her single “Lately,” which you can watch here. She ended the year with the inspiring anthem “Bigger Things.”
