“Why Can’t We Dance” has been featured by ET, CelebMix,  Guitar Girl Magazine, Essentially  Pop, New Scene Magazine, and Women of Country Playlist. “Why Can’t We Dance” follows Onoleigh’s previously released songs “Beautifully Broken” co-written with Brandon Hood, and “Make It Hurt,” the latter written by Maren Morris, Rhett Akins, and Chris DeStefano.

Hailed as “one of the most refreshing voices in contemporary music” (Guitar Girl Magazine), the rising singer-songwriter was raised in Mahomet, IL, and made the move to Nashville to pursue her career in music. Since her debut single “Ghost Stories,” which garnered over 20,000 streams across platforms in less than a month, her songs have been featured by CMT, Music Row, Taste Of Country, and more. Most recently, her song “Sunshine & Lemonade” co-written with John Oates (Hall & Oates), was included in the soundtrack for the movie “Gringa,” which was released earlier this year.

Onoleigh has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry including co-writing songs with John Oates (Hall & Oates), Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift), and working with Producer Brandon Hood (Sam Hunt and Rascal Flatts). She is slated to perform at the CMA Theatre with John Oates (Hall & Oates) on Sept. 6th and she recently shared the stage with Chris Janson. For more information, visit https://www.onoleigh.com/.
