Today, Nora Jane Struthers releases her new album, Bright Lights, Long Drives, First Words. Struthers’ triumphant new record captures the Nashville-via-New Jersey storyteller at a new beginning in her life. She recorded the LP while she was eight months pregnant with her first child after previously encountering difficulties with starting a family, a hard-fought journey that she’s explored throughout recent releases. Now Struthers looks to her new future as both a mother and a working musician on the road – utilizing her candid lyrical prowess to explore the realities of living out both dreams at once.

As she did on advance singles “Slow Climb” and “Nice To Be Back Home,” Struthers explores the ideas of home, life on the road and keeping her musical life alive along with new motherhood. Struthers is currently on her 2020 tour with her longtime band, The Party Line, and her upcoming stops include dates along the east coast and midwest. Full touring route below.
