ATLANTA, GA. – Rising pop-country artist MACARTNEY REINHARDT has been nominated for three Josie Music Awards — Young Adult Female Artist of the Year, Young Adult Female Vocalist of the Year, and Country Female Song of the Year for her debut single “Shadows,” released March 2021.
The Josie Music Awards is the largest independent awards show in the world, with the most sought-after and revered awards in the independent music industry. Macartney was nominated from a record-breaking 39,000 entries this year. The 7th Annual Josie Music Awards will be held on September 17 & 18 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. at the Country Tonite Theater.
At just 14 years old, Macartney had a notable year in 2020 and is already catching the eye of industry executives and music lovers. In addition to her recent Josie Music Awards nominations, Macartney was one of just five musicians nominated for Georgia County’s Teen Artist of the Year, the “CMAs” of Georgia that honors the very best in the music industry. She was also chosen as a contestant in the Georgia Has Talent showcase in 2020, then again this year in 2021.
