Musician talker has just premiered her visceral rendition of TV On The Radio’s single “Wolf Like Me,” and features Dan Sadin on lead guitar, JK Kurtz on drums, Liv Slingerland on bass, and Chanel Samson with backing vocals.
talker has received praise from renowned publications like Alt Press and PopMatters, among others. When she’s not pursuing her solo work, she a touring member and keyboardist for FRENSHIP.
talker exclusively shares that she started covering “‘Wolf Like Me’ at shows and it quickly became a staple of our set. It’s so much fun to play and bring my own voice into it – it’s my favorite song from the whole New York garage rock revival era and I’ve always been obsessed with it. People kept telling me to record it cause it was so fun at the shows – we finally crammed ourselves into Dan’s studio and did it and it was absurd and amazing.”
