Artist Spotlight: Vixen

Los Angeles-based guitarist and songwriter Vixen (She/They) is a trans woman from the UK. She has played worldwide throughout the US, Canada, and Europe, performing as a session guitarist for artists such as Halsey, Rina Sawayama, Joy Crookes, MNEK, Sigala, Cher Lloyd, and Fickle Friends. Through this touring, she has also performed feature songs with Zara Larsson, Craig David, and The BBC Symphony Orchestra.

She has played at many famous music venues and festivals, including the O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall, BBC Maida Vale Studios, Abbey Road Studios, and festivals such as Glastonbury, Wireless, T In The Park, Bestival, Lovebox, and V Festival.

In 2021, Vixen toured with Rina Sawayama. Together, they won Best Live Act at the NME Awards 2022. Vixen co-wrote four songs and played six songs on Sawayama’s latest album, Hold The Girl, including two singles. One was “This Hell.” The total number of Spotify plays for these songs is 22 million.

She has recorded live sessions for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, NPR Tiny Desk Concert, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, BBC Three, ITV1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 3, MTV, Capital FM, and Vevo.

Vixen has over 440K followers on TikTok and has fun showcasing her music skills and interacting with her following. Other interests featured on her channel include LGBTQIA+ topics, fashion, and comedy.

Gabriella “Guitar Gabby” Logan is an Atlanta Native and proud graduate of Spelman College and Vermont Law School. Her background in environmental and music law fueled her desire to start and manage the international all-women touring collective, TxLips Band, LLC.
