Product Review: Pigtronix Moon Pool Dynamic Tremvelope Phaser – A Tremolo & Phaser Combo Mini Pedal Delivers Big!

As seen in Guitar Girl Magazine Issue 18 Winter 2021 – Women in the Music Industry

The new Moon Pool Dynamic Tremvelope Phaser by Pigtronix is an exciting mini combo pedal that takes tremolo and phaser to a big new high. The Moon Pool is an analog phase shifter and tremolo, which you can use the two effects independently or combine them to use at the same time. The only thing small-sized about the Moon Pool is the footprint on your pedalboard. With independent speed controls and global controls for Depth and Sensitivity, you can dial in the desired effect intensity. The Sensitivity switches add additional dynamics as they either speed up or slow down the effect based on how hard you pick (very cool). This is a nice touch that sets the Moon Pool apart from other tremolo and phaser pedals. Another quality feature is that the On/Off Switch is True Bypass, which means it doesn’t color or load down your signal when it’s off. Another bonus is how the LED blinks to let you know the speed. Runs on a standard 9-volt DC adapter. The Pigtronix Moon Pool Dynamic Tremvelope Phaser is a pedalboard-friendly, dual effects pedal that delivers big to let you dive into the deep end of the Moon Pool of creativity.
