Identical twin sisters Alanna and Brianne Finn-Morris make up the folk-pop duo Fionn from White Rock, British Columbia. These young 20-year-old twins have been singing together for most of their lives, started busking at the age of 12, and were performing over 100 shows a year by the time they were 14. Citing music icons Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen to Lorde and Hozier as influences, their music deals with modern day social issues.

The video for their new song “Robert” shows a young couple in love until a breakup and the following emotional breakdown by the young female. The film shows Fionn’s talents as lyricists and vocalists with their beautiful harmonies and poetic lyrics. Fionn is definitely on our radar as artists to watch. Stay tuned for our upcoming interview with these talented young ladies.

The sisters’ first video from their upcoming debut album was “Magazine Face.” In a press release, the video is said to serve “as a reflection, as the identical twins look at one another through the frame of a mirror and contemplate the strange reality of being a young woman in the music industry.” The twins sing together, “I’ve never looked better but I’ve never felt worse.”

This year has been busy for Fionn as they were on tour, writing and working on their upcoming debut album which will feature all original music, and filming videos to accompany their new work.
