Las Vegas, NV, November 5, 2019 — V-MODA (LVCC Central Hall, Exhibit #10719), the award-winning manufacturer of the world’s finest high-fidelity audio devices with unrivaled customization options, is showcasing the M-200, V-MODA’s first-ever reference studio headphone, at CES. A testament to the continued collaboration of Roland Corporation and V-MODA, the M-200 features meticulous Japanese engineering and classic V-MODA shapes and materials, reimagined for the studio to produce a clean, refined and spacious sound with transparent clarity that’s perfect for producers, musicians and sound professionals alike. M-200 is available at V-MODA.com/M-200, Amazon.com ($350), and authorized resellers worldwide.
The M-200 delivers crystalline audio so clear and neutral that subtle nuances and flaws are easily distinguished. Featuring 50mm drivers with neodymium magnets and CCAW voice coils, the M-200 faithfully reproduces a wide range of frequencies up to 40kHz to guarantee a balanced tonal range. From the deepest bass to the sharpest highs, the M-200 sound is so detailed and accurate that it achieved the Hi-Res Audio certification by the Japan Audio Society (JAS).
With larger, flatter earcup housings compared to the Crossfade series, the closed-back M-200 features extra internal amplifying room for spacious sound with superior noise isolation. The practically indestructible yet flexible headband is enhanced by a broad design for improved weight distribution and hours of comfortable wear. Crafted for comfort and durability, the M-200’s adjustable headband is flexible enough for easy single-ear monitoring yet strong enough to withstand years of use in the studio. Combined with the premium, sweat-resistant PU leather exterior, and large, detachable magnetic memory foam cushions, the M-200 will feel like it’s barely there.
Pack up and protect the M-200 via the CliqFold hinge, compactly folding it to fit into V-MODA’s re-designed Exoskeleton case, which now features smoother lines and more space to include extra cables and accessories. M-200 also comes ready-equipped with the new, single-sided balanced audio cable. While the closed headphone design ensures optimal noise isolation, the balanced cable reduces signal-to-noise ratio to produce a cleaner, more spacious sound, making M-200 reliable for important decisions while mixing, recording or composing music.
M-200 is accompanied by the additional aramid fiber-reinforced SpeakEasy 1-Button Cable with a built-in microphone for crystal-clear calls, and benefits from V-MODA’s extensive customization options.
