Nashville-based singer-songwriter Emily Hackett is back with her brutally honest new single “Handle,” out everywhere today. The confessionally candid track, co-written and produced by Emily’s longtime collaborator Davis Naish, is Emily’s third single release of 2020, and a strong continuation to her new era of Americana/pop crossover music.
“I can be hard to handle. Something I didn’t really know about myself, until this relationship.” Emily explains. “I think people had just put up with it—but he doesn’t, and it’s exactly what I need. This song was that kind of magic that happens in an hour because it was heavy on the heart and needed to come out, plain & simple. It’s the best apology I’ve ever made.“
