Nashville, TN – July 14, 2023 – Today, country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Caroline Jones debuted the uplifting song, “Million Little Bandaids,” featuring her bandmates in Zac Brown Band, marking their first official collaboration since she joined the band full-time as the first and only female. You can stream “Million Little Bandaids” off her highly-anticipated third studio album expected this fall 2023 here: https://music.empi.re/millionlittle and watch the official studio video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpVKrjuqKMo
“This is a very full circle moment for me, to have ZBB featured on one of my songs. And this song in particular expresses a profound message about having the courage to open your heart and tell really hard and vulnerable truths, which is a journey I have been on the last few years. I actually wrote “Million Little Bandaids” two years ago with Zac in mind, so this is a big time manifestation for me,” says Jones.
Written and co-produced by Jones, “Million Little Bandaids” is about emotional courage and was inspired by the singer-songwriter’s journey of seeing her vulnerabilities and imperfections as what makes her unique and human, as opposed to wanting to cover them up. The song was originally intended for her EP, Superpower (5/19), however her fellow band members heard the track and were so impressed with the songwriting and musicianship that they asked to be a part of it. The track was co-produced by Zac Brown and features quintessential ZBB harmonies from Zac, Clay Cook, Jimmy De Martini and John Driskell Hopkins. This official collaboration comes as a natural progression after opening for the GRAMMY Award-winning group for three consecutive years, becoming a featured guest, and then officially being asked to join full-time.
“Caroline did a beautiful job writing this song. I’m always looking for new ways to say things, and these lyrics really resonated with me. I wanted to be a part of it the moment I heard it. Very excited for our fans to hear it,” says Zac Brown.
Jones’ recent EP, Superpower, features five tracks that embody grit and resilience, a theme that is reflective of her forthcoming album. The playlist includes electrifying songs like “Lawless” and “Normal Person”; her surprise instant-grat ballad, “Superpower”; a nod to 90’s Country-Pop with “Keep It Safe” ft. Alyssa Bonagura; and a deep and spiritual cover from folk supergroup Cry, Cry, Cry titled “By Way of Sorrow” featuring one of her musical heroes, Vince Gill. The creation of Superpower has deep roots in the Nashville creative community, as it was co-produced at the iconic Blackbird and Castle Recording Studios alongside celebrated industry veterans Ric Wake (Whitney Houston, Celine Dion) and Brandon Hood (Brett Eldredge, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt).
Caroline is currently touring as a part of Zac Brown Band for their “From The Fire Tour,” running now through November. She is also performing headline dates and at key festivals. See below for all upcoming tour dates:
