Sharing a music video that features an unforgettable dance party, Onoleigh enlisted Nashville’s Millenium Dance Company with moves by celebrity Choreographer Richy Mon. “Why Can’t We Dance” has been featured by ET, CelebMix, Guitar Girl Magazine, Essentially Pop, New Scene Magazine, and Women of Country Playlist. “Why Can’t We Dance” follows Onoleigh’s previously released songs “Beautifully Broken” co-written with Brandon Hood, and “Make It Hurt,” the latter written by Maren Morris, Rhett Akins, and Chris DeStefano.
Hailed as “one of the most refreshing voices in contemporary music” (Guitar Girl Magazine), the rising singer-songwriter was raised in Mahomet, IL, and made the move to Nashville to pursue her career in music. Since her debut single “Ghost Stories,” which garnered over 20,000 streams across platforms in less than a month, her songs have been featured by CMT, Music Row, Taste Of Country, and more.
