Born and bred in Memphis, the blues have forever been in this performer’s blood. Cam Cahill Brown was exposed to music at a young age; she attributes Janis Joplin, David Bowie, and Jimmy Page as being very influential in her growth as an acoustic guitarist, and later as a singer-songwriter. After attending Valdosta State University, she began her teaching career, and within a few years, had over 400 students. Through teaching, performing live shows, and participating in other social events within her community, Cam found success through her soulful and intuitive approach to music performance. She began her career in South Georgia and has since continued to grow and perform all over Georgia and outlying states.
