Korg‌ ‌USA‌ ‌Promotes‌ ‌Morgan‌ ‌Walker‌ ‌to‌ ‌ Director‌ ‌of‌ ‌Marketing‌ ‌Communications

MELVILLE, NY (Oct. 26, 2020) — Korg USA Inc. announces the promotion of Morgan Walker to Director of Marketing Communications. With Walker’s advancement, Korg USA expands its executive management team to include the critical role of marketing communications.

Walker is approaching her sixth anniversary at Korg USA, having joined the company as Senior Marketing Communications & Events Manager in December 2014. Her experience at Korg USA has included the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, content creation, and global marketing direction for the company’s brand portfolio. Walker is instrumental in the planning and execution of events, most notable the NAMM shows. With her new promotion to Director of Marketing Communications, she formally joins Korg USA’s executive management team.

Her work is recognized outside the office as well. Earlier this year, she was selected to be part of the inaugural Smart Women in Music (SWIM).  Founded to support the development of leadership proficiencies and aspirations of women within the music products industry, the 4-day leadership summit was held at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) headquarters in Carlsbad, California. Walker earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government/Communication from Sacred Heart University in 2001. Prior to joining Korg, she notably held a six-year tenure as Team Sales Manager at Lacrosse Unlimited (LU), where she leveraged her passion for the sport as a former Division 1 NCAA lacrosse player.

Walker’s energetic, “team player” attitude is evident through her track record of success in leadership, account management and customer service, integrated marketing, and special event coordination. Korg USA’s executive management team is thrilled to welcome her, and looks forward to collaborating on new marketing communications programs in 2021 and beyond.
