American Idol Contestant, Alison Elena, Set To Release “Break It”

Pop Country Music Artist Alison Elena Set To Release New Single "Break It" with Original Tune Available Friday, February 19, 2021 via Digital and Streaming Outlets

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 4, 2020) – American Idol Contestant, Alison Elena is taking the blame for her own heartbreak in her upcoming single, “Break It”. Produced by Zach Manno and co-written alongside Delaney Grant, the track will be available on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Recorded in Nashville, the contemporary track highlights Alison’s new-found perspective on past relationships. Alison’s vulnerable lyrics and captivating vocals capture a genuine experience that listeners can relate to.

I can’t hate you you know I’d love to
I’ve got no reason
You’ve been honest told me straight up
But I won’t believe it

Holding on to what could’ve been
and what I still think we should’ve been

“This song is about leaving the door open, even when you know how it will end.”said Alison.  “Sometimes you can’t blame the other person for breaking your heart because you allowed them to.  After countless tries, I realized I put myself there. This song was a big healer for me and a story I had wanted to tell for a long time”.

Since making her move to Nashville 5 years ago, Alison Elena attended Belmont University while developing her songwriting skills with some of Nashville’s top songwriters and musicians. In addition to performing at local Nashville venues and bars, Alison is currently working on a set of singles expected to roll out throughout the course of 2021.
