NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 25, 2021) – Carter Faith, dubbed the “future of Nashville” by American Songwriter, shows off her songwriting artistry with her newest single “Greener Pasture,” available on all digital platforms today. The track was co-written with chart-topping songwriter Tofer Brown (Little Big Town, Jon Pardi, Maddie & Tae) and Chromatic Music’s Lauren Hungate. Faith continues to set herself apart from her peers by leaning into her life, love, and heartbreak for inspiration. The heavy-hearted lyrics contrasted by a dreamy melody, mark the first release since Faith’s debut EP Let Love Be Love dropped in 2021, garnering critical acclaim from artists like Charles Kelley (Lady A), Carly Pearce, Mickey Guyton, Steve Moakler and many more.

“I wrote this song with Tofer and Lauren the first time we ever got in a room together, and we struck magic. I was looking for the next song to come after my EP and wanted it to be special, and I found that with them,” said Faith. “Greener Pasture is about that heartbreaking feeling when someone leaves you for the possibility of something better, looking for something greater is human nature but never fails to leave a lot of hurt in its wake.”
Faith is “poised to conquer Nashville” (HuffPost) after kicking the year off by being named on Spotify’s Hot Country Artist To Watch list, being added to Nashville Briefing‘s 30 under 30, and crossing over 25 million collective streams. While still early on in her musical journey, American Songwriter recently compared Faith to Kacey Musgraves – one of Faith’s greatest inspirations.
