Nashville singer-songwriter Gabrielle Metz is releasing her new single “I Forgot To Fall In Love” on Friday via Heart Song Records, and we’re pleased to premiere the single ahead of the release.
Thank you, Guitar Girl Magazine, for premiering my new single. I am really excited for my friends and fans to hear the “New Gabby” come to life on this track. I have predominantly released contemporary country songs, but I am growing and embracing my inner rocker!”

Tell us about your new single “I Forgot To Fall In Love.”
I was inspired to write this song based on a personal experience. It was one of those writes that was super easy; it just flowed.
What was the writing and recording process?
I really enjoyed working with my producer, J4, on this track. He is very much an “artists producer” because he put my inspiration before his own. I am really happy to release this single because it is the first song that I am releasing with my country rock influences.
Bio courtesy of artist:
Gabrielle Metz has been writing songs since the young age of 14. As she began to write these songs, she wanted to learn guitar so she saved up to buy one and taught herself to play. She finished high school online in Nashville, diving headfirst into the industry. She enjoys the storytelling aspects of country music as well as mild rock undertones, which she blends in during the production stage. Gabrielle writes from her own experiences and enjoys every aspect of music-making, especially the studio.
She has been nominated for Alabama Music Awards Best Female Country four years in a row and Best New Artist in 2018 and 2019. Gabrielle’s goals are to tour and become a full-time, self-sufficient artist. She can’t wait for 2021, hoping she will be able to play more live shows again.
