“Ever since I moved to Nashville, I have dreamed of being a part of Song Suffragettes,” says Andrea. “I cannot wait to play some of my songs and share the stories behind them. It’s going to be a fun time on stage with all these other incredible female musicians.”

The all-female singer-songwriter showcase titled Song Suffragettes is a one-hour weekly acoustic showcase featuring rising female country artists. The showcase is a collective of female artists who stand together in the face of systemic gender disparity in the music industry.

After successful feature placements with her current single Made Me Cry, and with several emerging Latin country artists getting their chance in the spotlight, Andrea is well on her way to becoming a success story that future generations of aspiring country artists who share her heritage will strive to emulate. Within the first day of the song’s release, it was picked up on several Spotify and Apple Music playlists including the Country Latino and Fresh Finds Country playlist on Spotify and the New in Country playlist on Apple Music. She also received praise from industry executives and trade publications including the Morning Hangover. She also teamed up with CMT.com for the release of the official music video. Visit Andrea Vasquez at her website and follow along with her on FacebookInstagramTikTok, and Twitter.
