The original “State of Mind” single from Reva K was released on November 5, 2021 and sparked a lot of interest in her blooming music career.
The lively pop/rock single has since racked up over 18k streams on Spotify as well as airplay on a dozen or more FM stations across the US and Europe. All of this media attention and acclaim established Reva K as an up-and-coming artist to watch.
Though grateful for the successes generated from the original single, Reva K and her team wanted to turn up the heat and bring “State of Mind” into alignment with her current production sound. The process began with replacing the drum samples with live drums. All of her electric-guitar parts were freshly tracked with her producer in Nashville and a driving new bass line was added. The new mix was then sent to award-winning mastering engineer Brian Lucey of Magic Garden Mastering in Los Angeles.
The new “State of Mind” master has since replaced the original audio on all streaming platforms in the past week.
