About the Song
Released September 30 via Midnight Entertainment, “Needed You More” is a raw, emotionally charged track about the painful realization of loving someone who doesn’t need you back. Produced and co-written by Nate Campany (Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa’s “Scared to Be Lonely”, LP’s “Lost on You”) and Tommy English (BØRNS’ “Electric Love”, Kacey Musgraves’ “High Horse”), the song pairs Belle’s signature rock grit with modern sonic textures.
“I wanted to write something that captured that push and pull of caring too much when someone else doesn’t,” Belle explains. “It’s painful but empowering to recognize that imbalance and decide to move forward.”
