Watch S.G. Goodman perform “If You Were Someone I Loved” on Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic + Announces New West Coast Tour Dates

October 21, 2022 – Today, S.G. Goodman debuted her performance of powerful rocker “If You Were Someone I Loved” launched by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s series #LateShowMeMusic. Her single is a timeless and timely statement about the opioid crisis, society’s lack of empathy, and giving the F-U to Big Pharma, all with her Appalachian-infused vocals and indie-meets-country sensibility. Watch it here.

Goodman also announces her new West Coast Teeth Marks 2023 tour, with dates including her headline debut at LA’s legendary Troubadour. This follows her recent debut headline tour, which sold out majority cities including NYC, in support of her critically acclaimed, radio-charting sophomore album Teeth Marks, released earlier this year.  She is also about to embark on a Fall European tour with Shakey Graves, full dates below.

Last week, Goodman turned heads when she took the stage at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky to join Chris StapletonRicky Skaggs, and Tyler Childers to create music to benefit the victims of the Kentucky floods this year. She took the stage to sing her beloved ballad “Space And Time,” which Childers has been covering of late.

Goodman also recently co-hosted an evening with Margo Price in her home state of Kentucky in support of Price’s new memoir, and shared the stage with Margo at John Prine’s You Got Gold tribute in Nashville at the Basement East. She has even caught the attention of Bruce Springsteen, who hosted her and legendary film director Paul Schraeder at his home after Goodman’s show in New Jersey.

S.G. Goodman has been making seismic waves with Teeth Marks, which has appeared in the top 10 Americana Radio Charts, landed her guest bookings on the beloved podcasts from WTF with Marc Maron to How Long Gone. She is not stopping any time soon, as Goodman continues to establish herself as one of the most impassioned and idiosyncratic voices of this generation and one of the most exciting acts emerging from the South in many years.
