New Round of Late Night Shows Announced for Riot Fest 2021, On Sale Today at 11:00 AM CDT

CHICAGO, IL: Hot on the heels of announcing two new headliners—Slipknot on Sunday, and Morrissey on Thursday—Riot Fest organizers are charging towards September with its second batch of Late Night shows. Tickets for these after shows will go on sale today at 11:00 a.m. CDT. For the second half of 2021’s Late Night events, four shows have been added for Friday night: Motion City Soundtrack at Concord Music Hall, Emo Night Brooklyn at Metro, Living Colour at Reggies Rock Club, and Man on Man at Cobra Lounge. Saturday’s offerings will now include Gogol Bordello at Concord Music Hall, and Sunday night will feature The Bronx at Cobra Lounge. Big Freedia, who initially was scheduled to play The Vic, will now play at Martyrs’ sans Too Many Zooz; New Found Glory’s Radius show will now feature Less Than Jake and Hot Mulligan. The additions cap off a stellar afterparty schedule that already includes sets from Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, Dinosaur Jr., The Sounds, and most notably, a rare reunion show with Mr. Bungle at Chicago’s new Radius venue on Friday, September 17—the group’s first Chicago show in 21 years, as well as their first since reuniting in February 2020 for a handful of shows.

On top of Late Night shows going on sale today, single-day tickets for all three days of Riot Fest 2021 are now available in limited quantities. Thursday Preview Party tickets, in a move reflecting the fest’s charitable efforts, are on sale with proceeds going towards Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, in addition to other organizations (to be announced).

In accordance with the latest COVID-19 directives from the City of Chicago, face masks will be required at all indoor events, which applies to all Riot Fest Late Night venues; those planning on attending should be sure to check with each venues’ respective entry policies prior to arrival.
