In today’s press release, it was announced that Caroline Glaser, a favorite from season four of NBC’s “The Voice,” has partnered up with Starpulse to premiere the first single, “Dream Of You” from her upcoming sophomore EP, Better Days Vol 2.  Produced by Donnie Reis and recorded at Twelve3South in Tipp City, OH, the 6-song EP will be released on September 16, 2014 and follows her critically acclaimed debut, Caroline Glaser, Vol I. Billboard premiered the 3-song debut which was released in December 2013 and Caroline immediately hit the road, opening for Kris Allen, in support. In between dates, she would travel to Nashville and Tipp City to work on Better Days. To help fund the release, Caroline launched a Pledge Music campaign and the response was overwhelming. Fans were loud and clear with their excitement for a new EP and helped her not only reach her goal, but exceed it. Her campaign is now at 180% and still has a month remaining. Caroline has been previewing material from the new EP this summer opening for Us The Duo. The tour wraps up on the west coast this week, with 3 dates remaining –  Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Diego. All tour dates are listed below and additional fall tour dates will be announced shortly.

The 20 year-old Chesterfield, MO native seems to be settling into the spotlight well. She went from playing coffee houses to appearing on national TV and winning the hearts of millions of viewers and “The Voice” judges. Blake Shelton raved, “You came out here and just did a very simple performance and completely blew my mind with it.” Shakira showered Caroline with accolades, saying her voice was “the kind of voice I’ve been waiting for.” After her appearance on The Voice, Caroline immediately hit the road. In September 2013, she played a month-long run of shows including a show at Rockwood Music Hall in New York where fans lined up for two hours before the show was scheduled to go on to make sure they got tickets. The mini-tour took her across the east coast and was followed by a supporting slot on Straight No Chaser’s “Under The Influence Tour.” The tour kicked off in October and took her to Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Baltimore, Nashville and more.

On her off days, Caroline hit the studio in both Nashville, TN and Tipp City, OH to record her debut EP which features two original songs and one cover. Caroline partnered with Angaleena Presley of The Pistol Annies on the track “Rosalee.” They co-wrote the song and Angaleena provides backing vocals as well.  “Working with Angaleena was such an honor” says Caroline, “The song is extremely special to both of us and we shared a lot during our writing session.”  Presley also lends her vocals to Caroline’s cover of Death Cab For Cutie’s “I Will Follow You Into The Dark.” When asked why she chose that song to be her sole cover on the EP, Caroline stated, “It’s always been one of my favorites to cover.  I’m just a huge fan of the song.” She goes on, “The lyrics are so beautiful.  I’m really hoping that fans of the song will enjoy my rendition.” The EP’s third song, “Money Tree” reached the Top 5 on iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart upon release.
