WiMN Showcasing Female Musicians at ASCAP Expo 2013

The Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) has announced the finalists, chosen from among dozens of entrants, to perform at their The WiMN ASCAP “You Are Next” Showcase. WiMN’s founder Laura B. Whitmore partnered with Notion Music to showcase women musicians at their first annual WiMN ASCAP “You Are Next” Showcase at this year’s ASCAP “I Create Music Expo.”

Ms. Whitmore explained that, “It’s the goal of the Women’s International Music Network to support and inspire women in the music industry, both behind the scenes and in the spotlight. The WiMN Showcase at the ASCAP Expo is just one example of this. We’ve identified fabulously talented women who will have the opportunity to share their music with industry insiders. Look for more events in the next few months!”

The ASCAP “I Create Music” Expo will be held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California from April 18-20, 2013.  The WiMN’s “You Are Next” Showcase will be held in the hotel lobby bar of the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.  The event is open to the public and FREE.

To get the crowd started, Laura will open with a special introduction and performance, followed by featured artist, Ali Isabella, and finalists Sabrina Lentini, Adjoa Skinner, Rachel Assil and Alexx Calise.
