As seen in Guitar Girl Magazine Issue 7

One of my favorite brands of guitars on earth is PRS. I remember when I first started playing guitar, and I first began learning about guitars, PRS is the brand that I wanted. This beginning process is something every musician goes through as they start to craft their sound and style. The very first PRS I knew that I wanted was a SE model. It didn’t matter which one, I just knew I wanted a SE.

To my joy, reviewing the newly introduced 2019 model PRS SE A55E Acoustic was an easy process. The buttery smooth sound PRS always delivers never fails. With clear and precise notes, this guitar boasts a solid Sitka spruce top, with a beautiful quilted maple back and sides and provides comfort and ease of playing for any guitarist at any level. One of the favorite things about this guitar that I noticed immediately was the Angelus Cutaway body shape. As a guitarist with smaller hands, it’s always great to have a guitar that provides a cutaway that allows me to flow up the 20 frets with zero complications. The second favorite thing was the beautiful Abaco green color option. It gives a visual depth that is simply irresistible.

With a maple body, this guitar provides a brightness that you typically may not get in other PRS acoustic guitars. The wide fat mahogany neck was comfortable, and the overall feel and sound of this guitar gave me an inviting tone that makes any rock song immediately sound good on an acoustic.
