TOBY GAD AND ANGELINA JORDAN UNVEIL SEXY SULTRY JAZZY PIANO DIARIES RENDITION OF THEIR LATEST HIT “BAD VALENTINE”

Los Angeles, CA – October 4, 2024 – The renowned songwriter and producer Toby Gad, celebrated for his GRAMMY-winning hits such as John Legend’s “All Of Me” and Beyoncé’s “If I Were A Boy,” and Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” has teamed up once again with the extraordinary 18-year-old talent Angelina Jordan to unveil the piano diaries version of their soulful hit, “Bad Valentine.” Releasing October 4, this reimagined rendition serves as the first single from Toby’s upcoming album, PIANO DIARIES VOL.2. The track is now available on all DSPs and streaming platforms HERE.

The “Piano Diaries Version” of “Bad Valentine” showcases the unique chemistry between Gad and Jordan, capturing the essence of the original while infusing it with a soulful, stripped-down arrangement. This version highlights Angelina’s raspy contralto voice, paired with a minimalist piano arrangement and cinematic strings that allows her powerful vocals to shine. With a rich history of impactful collaborations and an ever-growing fanbase, this piano diaries version of “BAD VALENTINE” is poised to become a favorite for the fall season, solidifying the partnership between Toby Gad and Angelina Jordan as one of the most compelling in contemporary music.

Toby Gad expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “18-year-old Angelina Jordan, courtesy of Universal Republic Records, has a once-in-a-decade voice that is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse and Adele. Not often does such an artist come along, and I have worked with many, that is such a force on stage and in the studio.”

Both artists recently performed together at Angelina’s sensational concert at the historic Alex Theater in Glendale, CA, on September 20, where they captivated the audience with their powerful performance of “Bad Valentine,” and a moving rendition of Toby’s John Legend classic “All of Me.” Angelina invited Toby Gad as a special guest for this memorable evening and “Bad Valentine” got standing ovations.

The “Piano Diaries Version” of “Bad Valentine” is the first single from Toby’s upcoming album, PIANO DIARIES VOL.2 which follows Toby’s recently released album, PIANO DIARIES – THE HITS which transformed some of his biggest hits into emotive piano-vocal masterpieces, featuring stars such as Victoria JusticeKeke Palmer & Aloe BlaccJohnny OrlandoLouisa JohnsonAngelina JordanCelina Sharma, and more.

Winning Norway’s Got Talent at age 7, then becoming an  America’s Got Talent sensation at age 14, Angelina Jordan has shined on some of the world’s biggest stages as a vocalist. Now she shines even brighter as an artist. Angelina, now age 18, is set to become a global household name. With an undeniable presence and an expressive deep contralto that has been compared to Amy Winehouse’s soulful voice, she immediately felt at home on stage, performing everywhere from the 2014 & 2023 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony to Quincy Jones’ 85th birthday at the O2 Arena in London. Her rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” performance at AGT Champions got worldwide recognition with hundreds of millions of views.
