LOS ANGELES, CA (March 18, 2022) – Virgin Music Label and Artist Services today announces the signing of singer-songwriter and viral TikTok artist Lauren Weintraub. Her new single “Missing You”, out today, is the first song resulting from the new partnership.

The night it was written, I put it on TikTok and it blew up getting 1 million views and since then it has over 7 million views and has 23,000 pre-saves so I knew it was something that was striking an emotional chord.”
“Missing You” is a touching and soul-stirring song as Lauren sings, “..If I ever want to try and get over you, I know what I’m supposed to do, I gotta make missing you, just mean missing you.”
It is an instantly memorable lyric and song that hits at the heart of any ending of a relationship.
Lauren explains, “I was on the verge of tears for most of the creation of the song as it is how I was able to move on emotionally from a hard time. I hope it can bring that to others as well. It’s about that person that you just can’t let go of but you know you have to if you want to move on.”
Lauren is currently nominated for the 2022 iHeart Radio Music Awards in the category of “TikTok Songwriter of the Year” for the viral video.
