Sound Royalties and Cosynd have joined forces in their shared vision for a more protected music community. The collaboration will enable each company to further their mission of helping artists protect their copyrights, as well as provide their growing communities of songwriters, performing artists, producers, and others with royalty financing services.
This new relationship will enable Cosynd users to have direct access to Sound Royalties’ funding services. Cosynd users earning more than $5,000 in annual royalties will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated Royalty Specialist, receive a complimentary consultation and free income analysis. It will also provide Sound Royalties customers with user discounts to Cosynd’s suite of services to help register their copyrights, establish ownership, and create agreements to help protect their work.
Sound Royalties specializes in music financing services that enable music creators to access their royalty payments in advance. Their funding process does not require personal guarantees or collateral, and their business promises to never take ownership of a customer’s copyrights. Sound Royalties works with hundreds of accomplished creatives of all levels like artist DJ Khaled (Rick Ross, Jennifer Lopez, Migos), music producer David Tickle (Prince, U2, The Police), songwriters Sonia Leigh (Zac Brown Band), Steve Dorff (Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Whitney Houston), and Larry Weiss (Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, Barry Manilow), among many others.
Cosynd is the fastest and most affordable way for creators to protect themselves and their work. Its suite of user-friendly copyright tools has helped thousands of creators and businesses worldwide seamlessly register their copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office and create legal documents that establish their ownership.
“The process of establishing ownership of and protecting copyrights can be complex and time-consuming,” said Alex Heiche, CEO of Sound Royalties. “Cosynd and Sound Royalties both work towards the same mission: helping musicians keep their copyrights. We’re looking forward to providing Cosynd users with direct access to our royalty funding services, while simplifying the copyright process for our own Sound Royalties community.”
“Our alliance with Sound Royalties is a natural fit — both companies understand the unique challenges that creators face around copyright ownership and share a common goal of protecting musical works,” said Jessica Sobhraj, co-founder and CEO of Cosynd. “We are delighted to provide an affordable, easy copyright protection service to the Sound Royalties community and look forward to working together to help Cosynd users thrive in their careers financially.”
