Sleater-Kinney have added 19 dates to their first tour since 2006. The shows support ‘No Cities To Love,’ the trio’s first album in ten years and most explosive to date, out January 20 via Sub Pop Records. Newly announced April and May dates include Crystal Ballroom in the band’s home of Portland, OR and multiple nights at Showbox in Seattle. Nearly all of Sleater-Kinney’s February tour dates sold-out within minutes of going on sale, including two nights at Terminal 5 in New York City. Full list of dates below.

Sleater-Kinney surprised fans by including new song “Bury Our Friends” as a one-sided 7″ with the October 21 release of ‘Start Together’ (also on Sub Pop), a limited-edition vinyl boxed set comprising remastered versions of their seven previous albums. The song received Best New Track from Pitchfork and was praised by Rolling Stone for its “big slithering riffs and ringing anthemic chorus.” Earlier this month, the band dropped another new song “Surface Envy” during a Reddit AMA session. Listen to the song that Stereogum calls “a fired-up, full-bodied howler powered by righteous fury and beautifully tangled riffage” here.
