D'Addario, the world's largest maker of instrument strings, has announced a partnership with Cole Clark Guitars of Melbourne, Australia that will see the prominent instrument manufacturer exclusively use D'Addario's new EXP with NY Steel strings on their acoustic guitars.
Whether the statement that women have to work twice as hard as men to get respect holds true or not, the band we’re featuring, Sick of Sarah, have, in the last 10 or so years, earned the respect of fans the world over thanks to a hard-driving rock sound that has also given them distinctions ranging from a top emerging band award back in 2008 when they played Milwaukee’s Summerfest, to an incredible-for-its-time 1.7 million BitTorrent downloads of their album 2205 back in 2011.
What looked like was going to be a stormy night, turned out to be great weather for the Rolling Stones concert in Atlanta, Georgia at the Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech. The Rolling Stones are touring the United States on their Zip Code tour and it definitely made Georgia Tech the place to be last night. This is the band that delivers a show that definitely rocks and shows each member of the bands’ musical talent. The Rolling Stones are a legendary band who love their fans and it shows at each performance.
While most Atlanta avid rock fans were attending the Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour at the Bobby Dodd Stadium last night, true hard core Pat Travers’ fans were at the famed Eddie’s Attic venue in Decatur, GA for the opening night of Travers’ Southeast Tour. And what a treat for those fans!

The D'Addario Foundation, a nonprofit solely funded by the world's largest maker of instrument strings, will continue its rich tradition of funding music education at one of its 250 partner programs around the globe by giving a young student a scholarship to attend the prestigious Crown of The Continent Guitar Workshop & Festival in Bigfork, Montana from August 30th- September 6th.
