Multi-instrumentalist Anna Sentina began her love music at an early age beginning on the piano at age eight, then onto guitar at 12, and finally the bass at 13. Influenced by metal bands that were favorites of her Mother, she took to learning more about music and performing with a band by enrolling at the local School of Rock where she quickly excelled and became one of their All Stars having the opportunity to tour the West Coast with other School of Rock students performing songs played during Woodstock. She would later go on to attend the famed Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California where she studied bass guitar.

Dina Regine can strum a guitar, click a camera, and spin a record. This multi-talented woman from New York has been involved in music since a very early age being heavily influenced by legendary artists from the blues, rock and roll, and soul music of the ‘60s and ‘70s which can be heard on last album Right On, Alright.

Sisters from the small town of Calhoun, GA outside of Atlanta have been experiencing great strides in their music over the last decade. Originally called the Lovell Sisters as a trio with older sister Jessica, the sisters later regrouped in 2010 as Larkin Poe (made up of Rebecca and Megan Lovell), a named steeped in history based on their great-great-great-grandfather,  who was a distant cousin of Edgar Allan Poe.

The Shaky Knees festival held in Atlanta, Georgia earlier this month had a variety of artists and musicians grace their multiple stages. The Irish band Flogging Molly, native North Carolinian Ryan Adams, and Aimee Mann’s band The Both, were just a sampling of the talented line-up for 2015. This year’s music came from all different genres – rock and roll, blues, country, folk, Americana, and even reggae -- all of whom rocked and had audience members smiling and shaking!
