The Ghost Wolves is a husband and wife duo out of Austin, Texas comprised of Carley Wolf on vocals and guitar with husband Jonny on drums. The duo was formed in 2010 and has been making get strides on the music scene with their eclectic performances, relentless international touring, and collaborations on art and fashion.

On a cool, dreary, rainy Sunday night at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia came a concert that was amazing! Revolver’s Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock tour rolled into town and gave an electrifying and powerful show! The line-up included: Falling for Scarlet, Diamante, Fit for Rivals, and Flyleaf. All the bands gave an electrifying performance, and the crowd responded with the same amount of energy.

Considering how most of us complain when we have to make one connecting flight, with only a carry-on bag, to get from point A to point B, who can blame her? 

We had the pleasure of chatting with Kristen May who fronts Flyleaf. Flyleaf will play at The Masquerade here in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, April 19, 2015 as part of the Revolver’s Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock Tour.  

Not too long ago, I was approached by one of my musician buddies asking me if I wanted to fill in on some gigs with his cover band.  I was so appreciative of being an honorary member of this band that I immediately said, “yes!”  Shortly thereafter, I received an email of the set list, which included roughly 78 songs.  Most gigs for this cover band included a set time of three to four hours and was played at the local pub on the weekend until closing time.  Depending on the crowd and their drunken behavior, this usually depicted what songs were going to be played.  The best part of this commitment was that the gig was in less than two months.  How on earth was I going to learn all these songs in less than two months?!

All girl trio, Maybe April, hail from various backgrounds, states and culture, yet they share a common and strong bond; their love of music. All three ladies met in 2012 at a summer camp, where their songwriting and musical styles worked in a compatible manner. Katy Bishop, Kristen Castor and Alaina Stacey use their harmonious styles to write and create music. They have several upcoming shows in Nashville, with an additional date at the renowned and coveted The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, California.
